Blues Village.ge has been successfully hosting the International Bluesfestival since 2017. The festival is held just next to Lagodekhi Protected Areas in akacia forest, where gathering to listen to clasico or modern musicians has already become a tradition. During these years, such blues mega stars, virtuoso guitar and harp players as Saron Lewis, Chris Cain, Carlos Johnson, Jimmy Burns, Deitra Farr, Shanna Waterstone were hosted by Blues Village.ge. On July the 5th 2025, the 9th International Blues festival will start in Blues Village, Lagodekhi. The festival`s ninth season is staffed by the kings of blues, and this phrase has double meaning this year; he festival will be opened by a band that includes 5 blues Kings, legends, members of BB King and James Brown bands and 2024 Grammy winner Kenny Blues Boss Wayne. Besides world famous blues artists, who proudly bear the title the Kings of Blues, Blues Village will host daughter of legendary blues Master B.B. King ``The Bluz Queen`` Claudette King together with Luca Giordano band will bring real blues hurricane to the stage. Shanna Waterstone – festival resident, is considered to be one of the most interesting female blues voices in recent years . Shanna and her band will add special charm to the festival. The festival will be closed by Sir Waldo Weathers, virtuoso saxophone player , member of James Brown band during 15 years . Emotional vocals, masterful guitar solos, and high-quality performance are the details that make the project special.
